The AstraX Process
Getting started with AstraX begins with understanding the student properly. After an enquiry or enrolment, an AstraX representative speaks directly with the parent or guardian to understand the student’s current performance, learning needs, preferred subjects and suitable class times. Where relevant, recent school reports, marksheets or other academic information may also be reviewed before the tutoring arrangement is confirmed.
Step 1: Enquiry or Enrolment
The parent or guardian submits the student’s year level, subject needs and preferred days or times through the AstraX enrolment process.
Step 2: Personal Consultation and Academic Review
An AstraX representative contacts the parent or guardian directly to discuss the student’s current performance, learning needs and goals. Recent marksheets, school reports or other relevant academic information may be requested to help us understand where support is needed.
Step 3: Tutor Availability and Schedule Coordination
Our administration team checks tutor availability against the preferred days and times provided by the family and works to arrange a suitable schedule.
Step 4: Confirmation and Class Details
Once the tutor and schedule are confirmed, AstraX sends the parent or guardian a confirmation email with the agreed class time and the relevant online class link.
Step 5: Live Online Tutoring Begins
The student joins live online lessons with structured learning resources, clear explanations and opportunities to ask questions and participate actively.
Step 6: Progress Follow-Up
Tutors provide ongoing feedback on the student’s learning and progress, while AstraX remains in contact with parents or guardians where needed to review performance, address concerns and adjust support.
The AstraX Advantage
AstraX combines personal academic review, carefully selected tutors, small classes and structured learning support to give students a more focused and consistent tutoring experience.
Key Benefits:
- Personal Academic Review
We take time to understand the student’s current performance, school requirements and learning needs before confirming the tutoring arrangement. - Carefully Selected and Mentored Tutors
Tutors are selected for their subject knowledge, teaching ability and commitment to students. New tutors receive direct mentoring and training to strengthen their understanding of the NSW curriculum and the AstraX teaching approach. - Small Classes and Personalised Support
Group classes are capped at five students, while one-to-one tutoring provides individual support and flexible pacing for students who need it. - Regular Parent Communication
AstraX keeps parents informed through progress feedback and direct communication where needed, helping families understand how the student is progressing and where further support may be useful.
