Who We Work With

AstraX Education is selective in the recruitment of tutors, as we understand the level of trust our families place in us to guide their children’s academic journey. We seek tutors who demonstrate academic excellence as well as professionalism, reliability, and a genuine passion for teaching.

Minimum Requirements:

We welcome applicants who meet one of the following criteria:

Academic Excellence:

Achieved a minimum ATAR of 90+
Band 6 in their teaching subject

Teaching Experience:

A minimum of 1 year of proven teaching or tutoring experience
Demonstrated measurable positive outcomes

Essential Qualities:

Additionally, we look for candidates who are:

Confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills
Organized and committed to delivering consistent, high-quality lessons on a weekly basis
Comfortable teaching online in a quiet, professional environment
Respectful and adaptable, able to meet the diverse needs of students
Focused on long-term educational outcomes, rather than quick fixes
