Shayekh is a medical student with a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Science (BClinSc) from Macquarie University. He then conducted clinical research at the Westmead Applied Research Centre (WARC) part of the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), achieving First Class Honours in Applied Medical Sciences.
